Drug Warriors Anonymous

a new group for those who have been brainwashed by drug war propaganda

by Brian Ballard Quass, the Drug War Philosopher

January 29, 2023

As a foe of the childish War on Drugs, I am always casting about for a way to really make a difference in ending this nightmare, and today I have hit upon an idea that I think could really make a difference -- with the help of people like yourself, that is. I hereby propose that Americans (and westerners in general) begin coming together in groups called 'Drug Warriors Anonymous,' to expose and discuss the many unacknowledged downsides of Drug War prohibition as well as the way in which we are all brainwashed on a daily basis by Drug War propaganda, first and foremost by the fact that positive stories about drug use are never published today in books, movies 1 2 and other media.

That's it. I cannot advocate that we get together to use drugs sensibly, thanks to drug laws, but I can suggest that we get together to 'hate on the Drug War' and clearly enunciate all the ways that it is destroying democracy and rendering life miserable -- even resulting in unnecessary suicides and shock therapy for the depressed who could have been cheered up by a wide variety of drugs that America prefers to demonize rather than to use for the benefit of humanity.

Any person who fears that such a group would quickly run out of topics is a person who does not understand the full injustice of the Drug War, how its hateful and childish ideology affects every aspect of American life. To get the cogs turning for those seeking to organize such get-togethers as I recommend under the title of 'Drug Warriors Anonymous,' here are some suggested topics for discussion.

These are just a few topics that come instantly to mind. Feel free to browse this website for many, many more suggestions. If your group is philosophically inclined, they might want to discuss a series of meetings to discuss the following topic: 'How scientists collaborate with the War on Drugs by insisting that materialist scientists are the experts when it comes to mind and mood medicine.'

Hint: They collaborate by insisting that all drug benefits be established on a quantifiable basis -- which means, in practical terms, that they are blind to all glaringly obvious benefits of drug use. Soma 5 inspired the Hindu religion and laughing gas 6 makes the depressed -- and everybody else -- laugh, and yet our materialists will agree with the DEA that these substances have no positive uses whatsoever? Why? Because of their inhumane philosophy of behaviorism, which tells them that all that counts is quantifiable data.

Please, get started today. Hold a meeting for Drug Warriors Anonymous in your neighborhood. Let me know how it goes. Contact Brian @ quass@quass.com.

Here's the recording of one possible meeting of Drug Warriors Anonymous.

Endless drugs could help with depression. Any drug that inspires and elates is an antidepressant, partly by the effect itself and partly by the mood-elevation caused by anticipation of use (facts which are far too obvious for materialists and drug warriors to understand -- let alone materialist drug warriors!).

In a compassionate world, we would give laughing gas kits to the suicidal just as we now give epi pens to those with severe allergies.

Ug! Fire bad! There were 4,731 fire-related deaths in America in 2023. Learn more at the Partnership for a Death Free America.

"There has been so much delirious nonsense written about drugs that sane men may well despair of seeing the light." -- Aleister Crowley, from "Essays on Intoxication"

I never said that getting off SSRIs should be done without supervision. If you're on Twitter for medical advice, you're in the wrong place.

If Americans cannot handle the truth about drugs, then there is something wrong with Americans, not with drugs.

Prohibitionists are responsible for the 200,000-plus killed in the US-inspired Mexican drug war in the 21st century.

The Drug War is the ultimate example of strategic fearmongering by self-interested politicians.

When folks banned opium, they did not just ban a drug: they banned the philosophical and artistic insights that the drug has been known to inspire in writers like Poe, Lovecraft and De Quincey.

This pretend concern for the safety of young drug users is bizarre in a country that does not even criminalize bump stocks for automatic weapons.
