Do you know why I stopped you? That's right, I stopped you to tell you why the black community is fast asleep when it comes to the evils of the Drug War. (Good guess!) Well, it's because national reporters like Lisa Ling ignore the Drug War completely. 797 blacks were killed in Chicago in 2021 by gunfire -- which would not have taken place without the Drug War to incentivize drug dealing and violence (especially in poor, and poorly educated, communities). And yet Lisa Ling's recent documentary about Chicago violence DOESN'T EVEN MENTION THE WAR ON DRUGS!!!!! I repeat: SHE DOES NOT EVEN MENTION THE DRUG WAR IN A ONE-HOUR DOCUMENTARY ABOUT CHICAGO gun violence 11 !!!! It seems the Drug War has become so much a part of national life that everyone takes it as a normal baseline, as if God himself not only created heaven and earth but the Drug War as well.

Laughing gas is the substance that gave William James his philosophy of reality. He concluded from its use that what we perceive is just a fraction of reality writ large. Yet his alma mater (Harvard) does not even MENTION laughing gas in their bio of the man.
Your drug war has caused the disappearance of over 60,000 Mexicans over the last 20 years. It has turned inner cities into shooting galleries. It has turned America into a penal colony. It has destroyed the 4th amendment and put bureaucrats in charge of deciding if our religions are "sincere."
To say that taking SSRIs daily is better than using opium daily is a value judgement, not a scientific one.
Drug prohibition is superstitious idiocy.
It is based on the following crazy idea:
that a substance that can be misused by a white young person at one dose for one reason must not be used by anybody at any dose for any reason.
Drug prohibition is a crime against humanity.
Endless drugs could help with depression. Any drug that inspires and elates is an antidepressant, partly by the effect itself and partly by the mood-elevation caused by anticipation of use (facts which are far too obvious for materialists and drug warriors to understand -- let alone materialist drug warriors!).
The best harm reduction strategy would be to re-legalize opium and cocaine. We would thereby end depression in America and free Americans from their abject reliance on the healthcare industry, meanwhile ending gang violence and restoring the rule of law in Latin America.
"Like Christians burning mosques and temples to spread the word of Jesus, modem drugabuseologists burn crops to spread the use of alcohol." -- Ceremonial Chemistry, p. 48
Our tolerance for freedom wanes in proportion as we consider "drugs" to be demonic. This is the dark side behind the new ostensibly comic genre about Cocaine Bears and such. It shows that Americans are superstitious about drugs in a way that Neanderthals would have understood.
The reasons that people use drugs are psychologically obvious. Academics gaslight us on this topic and invent new diseases to explain away our desire to live large.
